What You’ll Be Doing Design and implement a frontend that allows users to design, test, and operate hundreds of satellites with minimal training and clicks. Work closely with backend, full‑stack, and platform engineers to build mission management software for government and commercial satellite missions.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain a highly intuitive and usable frontend interface for satellite mission operations.

Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend/platform engineers to develop and refine features.

Build reusable React components using TypeScript and modern frameworks (Next.js, Refine).

Integrate frontend components with APIs (GraphQL, REST).

Contribute to design in Figma and collect and respond to stakeholder feedback.

Ensure best practices in frontend security, resilience, and maintainability.

Participate in code reviews, CI/CD processes, and test suite development.

Engage with users to gather feedback and measure product usage to inform continuous improvements.

Qualifications Technical Skills

Expertise in React and TypeScript, including building modular, reusable component libraries.

Proficiency with modern React frameworks such as Next.js or Refine (experience with Blitz.js or RedwoodJS also valuable).

Strong UI/UX sensibilities, translating complex workflows into simple, elegant interfaces.

Experience working in Figma and collaborating closely with designers.

Hands‑on API integration experience, including GraphQL and REST, with efficient data‑fetching and caching patterns.

Familiarity with identity and access management solutions (Auth0, Okta) and fundamental cloud security concepts.

Version control proficiency using Git and GitHub in a team workflow.

Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, ideally GitHub Actions, with experience automating builds, tests, and deployments.

Working knowledge of frontend testing frameworks (Playwright or Cypress) and a commitment to maintaining high test coverage.

Background

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent hands‑on experience.

3+ years of professional frontend development experience (exceptional self‑taught or nontraditional candidates welcome).

Active US Security Clearance (Secret Required, TS/SCI Preferred).

ITAR Requirements

To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident (green card holder), refugee, or asylee, and be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
