Key Responsibilities of the Senior Project Accountant / Analyst
Oversee financial management of projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control to ensure profitability and compliance.
Monitor project performance, identify potential cost overruns early, and implement corrective actions with project teams.
Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports, including Work-in-Progress (WIP), cash flow projections, and monthly close processes.
Partner with project managers to develop budgets, validate estimates, and provide financial insights during planning and review meetings.
Drive integration and financial efficiency across multiple projects and departments, supporting strategic and operational goals.
Qualifications of the Senior Project Accountant / Analyst
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
5+ years of experience in project accounting/analysis within the construction industry.
Expertise in project management platforms and ERP systems with integrated job costing capabilities.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and PowerPoint for executive-level presentations.
