A leading global alternative investment firm is building a new

Fund Management team

within its Private Credit business. This high‑impact role supports rapid scaling of deal volume and centralizes the investment allocation process across multiple credit vehicles (BDCs, SMAs, SPVs, and leveraged fund structures). The firm manages a broad suite of private credit strategies and is known for its collaborative culture, rigorous investment process, and long‑term internal mobility. This role offers significant visibility with Portfolio Managers, Treasury, Finance, and senior leadership.

About the Role The Fund Management Senior Associate / Manager will become the central point of coordination between the investment team and the broader organization—owning investment allocations, ensuring that each asset is placed into the correct vehicle based on mandate, eligibility criteria, constraints, and fund strategy.

This is a new function, starting with hands‑on operational allocation work and evolving into a

more strategic capital deployment role , with the expectation that this hire will help grow the team over time.

Key Responsibilities

Own

the investment allocation process for new deals across BDCs, SMAs, SPVs, and other private credit vehicles.

Evaluate each asset against

eligibility criteria , mandate constraints, concentration limits, leverage facility terms, and strategy alignment.

Serve as the bridge between Portfolio Managers and the rest of the firm, coordinating with Treasury, Finance, Operations, Compliance, and Legal.

Support new fund launches, including portfolio construction timing, data setup, and capital deployment.

Ensure accuracy across reporting, booking, allocations, and system data.

Partner closely with PMs, providing updates and validating allocation decisions.

Over time, grow into a more strategic role advising PMs on capital deployment, optimization, and fund structure considerations.

Ideal Candidate Profile Required Experience

2–4+ years in Private Credit or a closely related structured credit function.

Direct experience with fund structures, leverage facilities, or allocation workflows.

Strong understanding of how private credit vehicles operate (BDC, CLO/CLO‑like structures, cap‑call facilities, SMAs, SPVs).

Experience evaluating eligibility, constraints, and concentration metrics.

Excellent analytical capabilities and comfort working in a fast‑paced, deal‑driven environment.

Preferred Backgrounds

Private Credit middle office, Fund Finance, or Fund Operations with allocation responsibilities.

Private Credit investment support roles.

Structured Credit, ABS, or CLO operations/analytics.

Investment Banking analysts/associates with leveraged finance or structured credit exposure (if comp expectations align).

Compensation
