GSE Administrator
– Menzies Aviation LATAM
As a member of the Menzies Aviation GSE Administration team you will consult with operations and GSE organizations to determine equipment requirements. The administrator analyzes the market and delivery conditions and utilizes appropriate negotiation and purchasing techniques to ensure quality, price, delivery, and service.
Location: Seattle International Airport – SEA
Schedule: Monday through Friday – No weekends
Work Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Projected Pay Rate: $27 hr
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Minimum Equipment Lists (MEL) for each station and contract in accordance with contract requirements, service level agreements, flight counts, financial efficiency, etc.
Track and monitor efficient allocation of GSE assets across the network and reallocate as necessary from time to time as business conditions/contracts/MEL requirements change.
Support the procurement and allocation of all types of company owned and operated ground service equipment, from intent to purchase through delivery of commodity.
Review new business proposals from a GSE perspective to determine and/or propose procurement methodology including new purchase, lease or redeployment of existing assets.
Review and submit proposals for modifications to vendor or manufacturer.
Prepare instructions regarding purchasing systems and procedures.
Recruit and maintain suppliers that provide high quality products and services at a better price while maintaining the highest code of ethics and conduct.
Review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.
Prepare and review contracts, bids, proposals, and vendor agreements for legal correctness, price, and acceptability of items to specifications.
Negotiate with vendors for purchase and/or lease of equipment and/or machinery.
Confere with customers and representatives of associated industries to evaluate and promote improved and expanded services in the area.
Develop plans for efficient use of materials, machines, and employees.
Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Possess valid US driver's license with a clean driving record.
Pass pre-employment drug screen and all pre-employment testing.
Ability to read, write and speak English at a proficient level.
Must be comfortable lifting 35 lbs repetitively.
Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
Pass FBI background check and obtain US Customs Seal.
Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
Graduation from college or 1–2 years of equivalent experience.
Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable with new platforms.
