Transportation Construction Services Group Manager

What Your Day Will Look Like: As a transportation construction services group manager, you will engage in the growth of our local practice and advance your career as a business leader in the region. You will lead the construction engineering inspection team for the Puget Sound region, manage and mentor field inspection staff, coordinate with multiple disciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with applicable codes, accepted engineering practices, and company standards. You will devise new approaches to unique problems while developing the team. The transportation group manager reports to the regional director.
What You'll Do
Oversee the administration of projects throughout the construction cycle, including technical, financial, and client satisfaction.
Manage construction projects upon award of contracts through completion.
Supervise contractor coordination and scheduling.
Maintain budget and schedule with adherence to cost and delivery contractual commitments.
Provide construction monitoring and comprehensive project documentation, delivering a weekly report on project status.
What You'll Need
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
Minimum ten years of construction management experience.
Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
Field work primarily in outdoor environments with exposure to inclement weather, heat, humidity, noise, hazard, atmospheric conditions, and bodies of water, depending on project requirements.
Physical demands include frequent talking, hearing, standing, moving, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, handling, grasping, feeling, balancing, coordination, occasional sitting, and operating a company vehicle. May require lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 35 lbs.
