The Opportunity The Financial Analyst will work in our Enterprise Pathology Department and support financial decision making by monitoring deadlines; collecting, summarizing, and consolidating data; allocating variances; analyzing and interpreting data; making comparative analyses; explaining data and assumptions; researching and correcting variance problems; assembling and analyzing historical financial data; and explaining data and assumptions.
Job Summary Primary Responsibilities:
Provide analytical, forecasting, reporting, and project support to senior management
Support the onboarding of junior analysts by mentoring and assisting them
Track key performance indicators, prepare financial reports, and sometimes present them
Create ad-hoc reports and perform financial analysis
Assist project teams with financial guidance
Review financial reporting and ensure data integrity to enable management decisions
Ensure compliance with financial guidelines, company policies and regulations
Qualifications What You’ll Bring
Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study required
3+ years of experience in accounting or finance required
Superior Excel skills required
Experience in a role within a large healthcare organization strongly preferred
Experience using Epic preferred

Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organization
Strong analytical and mathematical skills
Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time
Ability to analyze, consolidate, and interpret accounting data
Schedule and Work Model
Full-time (40 hours) Monday through Friday, ET business hours
Primarily remote with flexibility to attend on-site meetings as needed in Boston and/or Somerville
Remote working days require a stable, secure, quiet, compliant workstation
