Responsibilities

You will lead the planning and design of civil works for GIS substations, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.

Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate civil engineering solutions within GIS substation projects effectively.

Oversee the execution of construction activities on‑site, managing resources to meet project timelines and budgets.

Conduct site assessments to identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies to ensure safety and durability.

Review and approve technical specifications and drawings related to civil aspects of GIS substations.

Liaise with stakeholders, including clients and contractors, to align project objectives and expectations.

Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support in developing their skills in civil engineering for substations.

Prepare detailed reports and documentation that accurately reflect project progress and any deviations from plans.

Requirements

Possess strong expertise in overseeing the design, construction, and maintenance of high‑voltage GIS substations.

Demonstrate proficiency in using specialized software tools for civil engineering within substation projects.

Have a deep understanding of safety standards and regulatory compliance specific to GIS substation operations.

Coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project integration.

Identify and address technical challenges during substation development.

Manage resources efficiently, ensuring timely completion of civil works in alignment with project schedules.

Conduct and document thorough site inspections to verify adherence to quality and design specifications.

Prepare comprehensive reports and present project updates to stakeholders.
