Registered Nurse (RN) - Full Time, Day Shift - $44.58 - $60.00 per hour + $10,000 Sign‑On Bonus
Location: Chicago, IL
Schedule: Full time, day shift, 12‑hour shifts. Shift differentials for night and/or weekend shifts are paid.
Base rate is based on years of experience.
Rush Specialty Hospital, a partnership between Select Medical and RUSH, is a 100‑bed facility that combines a critical illness recovery hospital and an acute inpatient rehabilitation hospital.
Core Responsibilities
Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
Ensure timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems.
Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
Competence in rapid response and code events.
Instruct and counsel patients/families.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Valid State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
BLS certification required at hire.
ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
Clinical experience in a critical illness recovery or inpatient rehabilitation setting.
