About the Role We are seeking a Business Development Executive to expand an environmental consulting practice that supports real estate owners, developers, and construction managers across the NYC Tri-State region. In this role, you will be responsible for selling a suite of environmental consulting services - including asbestos, lead, mold, indoor air quality, hazardous building materials assessments, and subsurface environmental services. Your primary clients will be organizations involved in property development, building management, construction, and real estate investment.
This position plays a critical role in driving market growth, establishing long-term client partnerships, and positioning the firm as a trusted environmental advisor throughout the real estate and construction lifecycle.

Key Focus Areas
Identify, pursue, and secure new business with real estate owners, developers, construction managers, and related industry stakeholders.
Prepare and negotiate proposals that communicate scope, value, and environmental service strategies.
Monitor market trends, regulatory shifts, and competitive activity to guide sales planning.
Introduce clients to complementary service lines and create opportunities for cross‑selling.
Maintain accurate pipeline and sales reporting in CRM systems and collaborate with internal teams on priority pursuits.
About You
Bachelor’s degree in environmental studies, engineering, architecture, construction, real estate, or a related field
8+ years of business development or sales experience
5+ years in environmental consulting, real estate, or construction
