Systems Engineer 3

Data Intelligence LLC is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer 3 to support one of our Navy customers in NIWC Pacific. This is an onsite position in San Diego, CA. Required Experience: Seven years of demonstrated technical experience within the last ten (10) years to include: progressively more responsible experience in all phases of military data links; testing, requirements analysis, definition, design specifications, integration, system installation, and training for complex military systems. Experienced in the preparation and review of technical instructions, engineering plans, technical designs, and other systems integration and test related documents. Planning and executing DoD Functional Qualifications Testing (FQT) and troubleshooting of Software Defined Radio (SDR) (or comparable) systems. Experience in analysis of SDR functional requirements and test objectives; test planning, test architecture definition and configuration; test execution, data reduction, analysis, and reporting. Desired Experience: Systems engineering in support of Multifunctional Information Distribution Systems (MIDS) Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS), Airborne Maritime Fixed (AMF) or similar software defined radio systems. Leading analysis of new Functional Baseline requirements for MIDS JTRS software including Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) Link 16 waveform, and Operating Environment (OE) Software; experience in C++ and Python. Testing of IP-based network testing in laboratory environments including Tactical Targeting Network Technology (TNT) Waveform. Security Clearance: Active Secret Clearance required.
