Our client is a prestigious, global investment firm that has been a leader in the industry for 20+ years. Headquarters in Greenwich, Connecticut, they are a leader in alternative and traditional strategies. They are seeking a senior level software engineer to join their Portfolio Manager and Implementation teams where you will turn quantitative insights into actionable investment strategies.
Location: Office in Greenwich, CT (50min commute from Grand Central). This is a hybrid role, with an onsite requirement of 2-3x per week.
Salary Range: $130,000 - $160,000 base salary (Based on experience).
Required Technology And Skills 6+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with demonstrated experience and expertise developing in Java and/or Spring Boot Deep knowledge and experience working with SQL Experience with relational databases for data analysis and software development Hands‑on experience with quant stacks is a plus (Python, NumPy, and Pandas) Familiarity with REST‑like architecture and software lifecycle tools, e.g., Git, Jira, and Jenkins
Additional Skills Degree in IT, Computer Science or STEM related field Experience supporting financial/trading and/or mission‑critical applications Excellent communication skills
