Overview
Security Agent – The 'Quin House
Reports To: Club Security Supervisor
Primary Responsibilities
Ensure a safe and secure environment for all members and staff.
Enforce all club policies for members and guests in a warm and hospitable manner.
Respond to medical or emergency needs within the club.
Understands all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, and guidelines for The Quin.
Manage all emergency and medical incidents throughout the club.
Be attentive to members’ needs and assist with the member check‑in experience when necessary.
Remain at the front desk during peak business hours and maintain a thorough knowledge of all security systems and procedures.
Conduct regular bag checks for staff during each shift and monitor vendor and visitor logs.
Assist People & Culture in managing employee lockers and conducting regular audits.
Manage and stock all first aid kits, providing daily inventory to the Club Security Supervisor.
Remain calm and in control during any emergency situations and descalate tense or concerning situations.
Provide first aid, CPR, and use AED when required; walk through emergency scenes with responders.
Monitor the club regularly, communicate suspicious behavior, conduct property tours, and report notable damages.
Act as the security point of contact for VIP visits and work directly with security details.
Monitor off‑site parking lots and report issues to the FOH Manager on duty.
Perform any additional tasks as assigned that pertain to this role.
Position Requirements
Experience in a security role required, at least 3–5 years.
Hospitality security background preferred.
First Aid, CPR, AED Certified.
Ability to remain calm and professional in tense emergency situations.
Clear and concise communication skills.
Service‑oriented style with professional presentation skills.
Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
A strong team player who supports their team and embraces ownership, accountability, and responsibility for the team’s work.
Ability to learn and master NorthStar POS.
Excellent oral and written communication skills for reporting.
Detail‑oriented, good prioritization, and follow‑up skills.
Basic understanding of Health and Safety, Food Hygiene, and Employment Legislation.
Open availability and flexibility to work according to the needs of the business.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear, walk multiple flights of stairs, stand for long periods of time, use hands and reach with hands and arms, and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
