SDR Team Manager
Canonical is a leading provider of open source software and operating systems to the global enterprise and technology markets. Our platform, Ubuntu, is widely used in public cloud, data science, AI, engineering innovation, and IoT. We are expanding our sales and field engineering teams globally and are looking for SDR Team Managers to run new inbound and outbound teams.
Responsibilities
Manage and mentor a successful team of 2‑10 SDRs/BDRs.
Maintain a multi‑million dollar pipeline and achieve inbound and outbound sales targets.
Develop and coach team members to grow their skills and career progression.
Implement and refine outbound approaches, adapting to market changes.
Use data to drive team activities and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Excellent academic results at school and university.
Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Business or STEM.
Knowledge and passion for business development, sales and technology.
Track record of outstanding outbound sales development results.
Commitment to continuous learning and improvement – curious, flexible, scientific.
Creative problem solving and cross‑team collaboration.
Leadership experience of one form or another.
Ability to use data to drive team activities and continuous improvement.
