Overview
This full‑time Nursing Director of MCardiac Telemetry will lead the 24‑hour Cardiac Telemetry Services unit at Wellington Regional Medical Center, a 235‑bed community hospital in Wellington, FL owned by Universal Health Services, Inc.
Responsibilities
Assume responsibility and accountability for the 24‑hour management of Cardiac Telemetry Services to ensure the facility meets the established standard of care.
Oversee all unit personnel, including interviewing, hiring, ongoing evaluation, and professional development.
Develop and implement unit policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve clinical excellence and regulatory compliance.
Analyze financial and operational data to support departmental goals.
Job Requirements
Current registered nurse license in the State of Florida.
Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications.
5‑8 years of clinical nursing experience.
Minimum 5 years of progressive nursing management experience.
BSN required; MSN preferred.
Strong computer skills with Outlook, Kronos, Cerner, Microsoft Office.
Preferred: National specialty certification.
