Group Director - Executive Recruiting | Connecting Candidates with Small/Mid-Market Clients across the Midwest in the Engineering, Operations, Supply… Senior Project Manager – Post-Acquisition Integration The Senior Project Manager – Post-Acquisition Integration will lead the operational integration of newly acquired manufacturing businesses. This highly visible role owns cross‑functional planning, alignment, and execution from Day 1 through stabilization, ensuring processes, systems, and teams are successfully incorporated into the broader organization.

Responsibilities

Integration Planning & Execution: Lead cross‑functional integration projects for newly acquired sites, translating deal goals into structured implementation plans.

Assess operational capabilities, supply chain maturity, production workflows, quality systems, and capacity to identify integration priorities and gaps.

Build and manage integration timelines, milestones, risks, and communication plans.

Partner with leaders across Operations, Supply Chain, Production, Quality, Engineering, HR, IT, Finance, and Commercial.

Facilitate alignment on KPIs, reporting cadence, SOPs, procurement processes, inventory strategy, and production planning activities.

Drive issue resolution, remove roadblocks, and ensure clarity in roles and expectations during integration.

Support harmonization of ERP/MRP systems, planning tools, procurement workflows, and other operational systems.

Standardize SOPs, documentation, safety/quality processes, and operating rhythms across acquired sites.

Coordinate integration of equipment, product lines, and manufacturing IP into broader operations.

Desired Skills And Experience

Bachelor’s Degree required, with advanced degree or certification (MBA, PMP, etc.) Preferred.

Background in manufacturing operations, supply chain, production, or engineering.

Experience leading acquisition integration in a manufacturing organization.

Strong project management discipline with the ability to lead without direct authority.

Experience in multi‑site environments with differing cultures, systems, and processes.

Exceptional cross‑functional coordination and communication skills.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Highly organized, able to manage multiple simultaneous workstreams.

Comfortable in fast‑paced, evolving environments.

Travel: 25–50% to acquired sites.
