What You’ll Do Your Impact
Perform high-quality nuclear medicine diagnostic exams in an acute care setting
Work closely with physicians to deliver critical patient care
Maintain patient safety and comfort with professionalism and empathy
Education
2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved or NMTCB-recognized Nuclear Medicine Program, required.
Experience
Minimum of one year of experience in nuclear medicine, preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
Certified and registered in Nuclear Medicine by ARRT or NMTCB – RT(N) or CNMT, required.
Applicable state license, required.
Additional Skills
Ability to successfully complete generic and department‑specific skills validation and competency testing; good communication skills; capable of functioning alone in diagnostic rooms; working knowledge of various types of nuclear medicine equipment, able to adapt to new and various situations and procedures according to age of patient served; has ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his / her age‑specific needs.
