Mammography Technologist II – Full Time
Mercy is seeking a dedicated Radiologic Technologist to provide screening and diagnostic mammography and breast sonography. Responsibilities
Provide screening and diagnostic mammography and breast sonography for interpretation by radiologists. Assist radiologist in needle localizations, biopsies, and other diagnostic procedures. Apply principles of radiation protection. Assist with general radiographic and office duties as needed. If assigned to the mammography van, drive the mobile unit to sites throughout Mercy East Communities. Perform duties in a manner consistent with Mercy's mission, values, and Service Standards. Qualifications – Minimum
Successful completion of an accredited Radiological Technology program. State licensure may be required depending on the state of practice. At least 2 years of relevant experience. Must be certified by the ARRT (e.g., R.T(M) + R.T. (BS) or RDMS (BR) or equivalent). Breast Ultrasound certification required. Knowledge of breast biopsy and needle localization procedures. Qualifications – Preferred
