Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Podiatrist (Part‑Time) to join our mobile care team in Bakersfield, CA. All administrative and logistical responsibilities—including equipment, supplies, scheduling, and billing—are fully managed by CMC. This is an independent contractor position, allowing you to focus entirely on high‑quality patient care without the burdens of running a private practice.
Key Responsibilities
Provide routine foot care and treatment for podiatric conditions commonly affecting geriatric patients
Diagnose and manage chronic and acute podiatric concerns
Support diabetic foot care and preventive care education
Ensure a respectful, safe, and comfortable care environment tailored to geriatric needs
Collaborate with facility staff to support coordinated patient care
Qualifications
Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM)
Active California Podiatry License
Experience in geriatric or mobile care preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and adapt to facility‑based care settings
