Aya Locums has an immediate opening for a locum Surgery Cardiothoracic PA in Greenville, SC with pay $1,200–$1,300 per day.
Position Details
Job Title: Physician Assistant
Specialty: Cardio‑Thoracic Surgery
Start Date: 03‑02‑26
Contract Length: 26 weeks
Schedule & Coverage
Shift Coverage: Scheduled + On‑Call required
Shift Schedule: 06:00 – 14:00 (8 h)

Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive medical care to patients under the supervision of a licensed physician.
Conduct patient histories and physical examinations.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
Develop and implement treatment plans.
Prescribe medications.
Perform procedures authorized by state regulations and the supervising physician.
Educate and counsel patients on preventative care and health management.
Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
Document medical records accurately and thoroughly.
Continue education to stay current on advancements in medicine.
Qualifications
Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) from an accredited program.
Active and unencumbered PA license in South Carolina.
National Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
At least one year of clinical experience in the specialty (preferred).
Skills
Strong clinical knowledge and assessment skills in Cardio‑Thoracic Surgery.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in performing relevant physical examinations and procedures.
