Position Highlights

Setting: Hospital-based | Care Team Model
Call: Equal share (1:6) | No in-house call | Home-based call only

Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC is hiring a
Cardiac Anesthesiologist
to join our high-performing heart team. Our cardiac program is the second busiest in North Carolina yet maintains the camaraderie of a smaller group.
Work alongside 4 experienced CV surgeons
1400+ CABG cases annually
TAVR, LVAD, ECMO, and valve procedures
No pediatric hearts or transplant cases
This is a care team model where physicians supervise cardiac-specialty CRNAs.
Qualifications
Board Certified/Eligible in Cardiac Anesthesiology
Fellowship trained preferred
Must be boarded in advanced perioperative TEE if not fellowship trained
Eligible to work in the US without restriction
NC medical license or ability to obtain
Competitive base salary for 45 hours/week, 42 weeks/year
Option to earn more by picking up additional shifts
10 weeks paid time off
