Overview
Cloudflare is a global network that accelerates and protects Internet applications. Our Pricing & Monetization team builds business models, optimizes revenue, and launches new offerings. We are hiring a Senior Manager / Principal to lead key pricing initiatives.
Responsibilities
Lead cross‑functional pricing projects, structure complex problems, and deliver data‑driven recommendations.
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product to refine business models, define monetization strategies for new offerings, and optimize packaging and pricing for existing products.
Optimize the product portfolio by creating effective strategies and programs that increase cross‑sell and up‑sell.
Guide pricing proposals through Cloudflare’s governance process from concept through full implementation.
Develop financial insights in partnership with Finance to inform overall revenue strategy, including consumption‑based pricing, customer lifetime value, cohort analysis, and discount optimization.
Conduct primary research (qualitative customer interviews, quantitative market research) and deliver data‑driven pricing recommendations.
Qualifications
6+ years of experience in strategy or business operations within an Enterprise SaaS or technology company.
Prior top‑tier management consulting or corporate strategy experience highly desired.
Demonstrated success in commercialization strategy and project execution.
Strong influencing, communication, and collaboration skills across cross‑functional teams.
Analytical rigor and financial acumen to solve sophisticated business issues.
Self‑starter with a “Can Do” attitude who thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative, high‑growth environment.
Education
Master of Business Administration desired.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or an equivalent.
Compensation
For Bay Area based hires: Principal level estimated annual salary $228,000 – $275,000; Senior level $187,000 – $229,000.
