Job Description As a Tissue Recovery Specialist, you will be part of a professional surgical team and receive hands‑on paid training to aseptically remove bones, skin, veins, corneas, heart‑for‑valves and other tissues from deceased donors while developing technical skills.

About You You are a positive team player, self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and mission‑driven. You take great pride in your work and are motivated by the impact of your contributions. Candidates with EMT, Paramedic, ER Tech, OR Tech or Surgical Tech backgrounds with medical terminology and anatomy knowledge are strongly encouraged to apply.

Schedule Full‑time: 3 12‑hour shifts per week, comprised of 2 shifts that run for 12 weeks at a time. Days 7:00 am‑7:00 pm; evenings 12:00 pm‑12:00 am. You will have every other weekend off. Overtime is calculated at 1.5× for hours beyond 40 per week. Additional mandatory training and meetings are required.

Travel Position based in Waltham, MA. You may be required to travel throughout New England in NEDS vehicles and possible small aircraft. Must live within a reasonable driving distance of Waltham and maintain a valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and required minimum personal automobile insurance. You will be required to travel by personal vehicle for duties.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree or at least 2 years of professional experience as an EMT, Paramedic, ER Tech, or OR Tech – hands‑on healthcare experience required.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Ability to stand for extended periods.
