Senior Director of Sales Join The Barcode Group as a Senior Director of Sales for our Costco business. This remote role requires candidates to be based in the Seattle area.

General Job Description and Duties

Develop and execute business development strategies to build the existing Costco channel, focusing on Costco Corporate sales.

Build key relationships with Costco’s merchandising teams to identify new growth opportunities and develop and implement sales plans for growth initiatives including vendor placement, new product development and category extensions.

Manage key client business at Costco to support existing business and growth.

Organize client/customer meetings to discuss strategies for their brands.

Build compelling sales stories and presentations to support strategies.

Deliver budget plans and new distribution goals for client and customer.

Maintain clear understanding of objectives and liaise with leadership to develop operational plans to manage execution and measure results.

Manage cross‑functional communication between self, analytics, and supply chain teams to best understand all aspects of client businesses.

Monitor and report on sales performance analytics.

Qualifications/Abilities

10+ years of related sales experience working with a fast‑paced, innovative consumer business supporting strategic new business development and growth, specifically in General Merchandise, with a minimum of 2 years of experience working with Costco Corporate merchandising.

Strong strategic thinking and conceptual skills, including ability to translate trends, consumer research and observations into actionable opportunities.

Proven ability to sell and close deals with potential clients.

Exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills, drawing upon a large network of relationships across multiple categories, companies, and brands.

Demonstrated passion for product, trend, and innovation with strong market knowledge of the retail sector and channels.

Ability to effectively utilize data and insights to build compelling sales stories. Strong ability to communicate key information, deliver presentations and influence audiences.

Strong organizational and project management skills, with exceptional attention to detail.

Proficiency in all Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.

Willingness to travel.
