About the Role The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their team, with the role open to both part-time and full-time hours. This includes oversight of investments, estate planning, tax management, and working with the family and their advisors on financial decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, with an MBA or CPA preferred, and a proven track record as a CFO, COO, or senior financial executive in a similar environment. Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills are essential, as is a high level of integrity and professionalism in handling confidential financial information.
The successful CFO will be involved in the oversight and implementation of financial strategies, making strategic recommendations on investment opportunities, risk management, and financial decision-making. They will also be responsible for budgeting, accounting, cash flow management, and financial reporting for multiple entities within the family's portfolio. The role requires a strong understanding of investment management, financial planning, and tax strategies, as well as the ability to work with investment advisors to optimize performance. The CFO will have one direct report, the companys controller, and must possess analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
