Pediatric Intensivist – NYU Langone Health
Join the Division of Critical Care within the Department of Pediatrics at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. We are seeking a board‑certified or board‑eligible pediatric intensivist for a faculty position at the Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital, providing coverage in a 22‑bed PICU with capability for extracorporeal life support and renal replacement therapies. The role also includes teaching fellows, medical students, pediatric residents, and participation in hospital‑related administrative, research, and quality improvement initiatives.
Salary Range : $265,000-275,000 (full‑time employment, excluding incentive compensation or benefits). Actual salary may differ based on experience, training, and hospital/community need.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive clinical care in the 22‑bed critical care unit.
Coverage of the Bellevue Hospital Center PICU (7‑bed unit).
Perform extracorporeal life support and renal replacement therapies.
Teach fellows, medical students, and pediatric residents.
Participate in hospital‑related administrative, research, and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine.
Outstanding clinical skills and commitment to education.
Experience in intensive care settings (preferably with extracorporeal and renal support).
Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams.
