Responsibilities
As a valued member of our team, you will:
Provide assessment, triage, and therapeutic management of patient/family needs throughout the process as an integral part of an interdisciplinary team.
Work in collaboration with the attending supervising/collaborating physician(s) in accordance with state law and hospital regulations, hospital policy, protocols, and clinical pathways, and may provide autonomous team-based care.
Obtain medical histories, perform physical examinations, review/order diagnostic/therapeutic tests and radiologic results, formulate and manage patient treatment plans.
Educate patients and families on care and available resources, including admitting instructions, treatment plans, potential side effects, and discharge plans.
Education
Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program.
Experience
Minimum two years of experience in clinical practice.
Experience and training working with geriatric population strongly preferred.
Active, unrestricted CT medical license or in process of obtaining.
ACLS/BLS (as required) certification.
DEA License.
