Mammography Technologist - Radiology Diagnostic
Description
This position requires performing a variety of radiological technical procedures specific to the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in a high-volume outpatient setting. You will produce high-quality radiographic images while interacting with all patients in a caring and comforting manner. Joint responsibility for performing required quality control activities as mandated by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA. Depending on location, you may also need to utilize general radiography skills to perform diagnostic radiology exams.

New Graduates New graduates from accredited radiologic technology programs are strongly encouraged to apply. While onboarding and comprehensive professional development will be provided, candidates must successfully complete our mandatory 48‑hour mammography training course before commencing employment.
Required Qualifications
Successful completion of a formal radiologic technology training program, meeting ARRT registration requirements.
Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist license.
Upon hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association certification.
Upon hire: National Registered Technologist – Radiography (ARRT).
Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist – Mammography.
Depending on location, prior general radiography experience may be required.
Preferred Qualifications
2 years full‑time mammography experience.
Compensation & Benefits The posted wage range for this position is $40.33 to $63.67 per hour. The successful candidate’s placement within this range will be determined by relevant job experience and other factors. Additional compensation may include shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
