Essential Functions
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients undergoing radiologic procedures, including reviewing medical histories, performing physical examinations, and ordering additional diagnostic tests as needed.
Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and other health‑care professionals to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring the highest standard of care.
Educate patients and families about radiologic procedures, expected outcomes, and post‑procedure care.
Monitor and evaluate patient progress, documenting findings and updating electronic health records accurately and promptly.
Engage in ongoing professional development and stay current with advancements in radiologic technology and treatment protocols.
Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that enhance radiology services and improve patient outcomes.
Ensure compliance with all health‑care regulations and standards of practice.
Qualifications
Current NYS RN and NP license required.
DEA and BLS/ACLS certification required.
Prior experience in radiology preferred.
CCTA experience is a plus but not required.
