Salary:
$75,000 - $80,000 / year

Job Summary Working as a Director of Dining Services, you are responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day operations for a dining account. This role supports two business units in partnership with OpenAI and includes oversight of multiple office locations. You will lead a team of associates, maintain strong client relationships, and ensure the food offered is of superior quality. Additional responsibilities include transportation coordination between Gallaudet and OpenAI, managing hot‑food pop‑ups and catering events, overseeing inventory control, updating menu signage, and supporting cross‑functional initiatives and emerging business opportunities. The schedule is Monday–Friday.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain strong relationships with customers, guests, the client, and internal departments
Collaborate with the Chef and management team on menu development and food quality
Oversee all P&L and budgeting for the account
Roll out new culinary programs
Provide operational dining support across multiple business units and office locations
Manage pop‑up catering services and additional on‑site food events
Coordinate transportation logistics from Gallaudet to OpenAI
Support inventory management, ordering, procurement, and menu signage updates
Ensure smooth operational collaboration between internal teams and the client
Assist with cross‑functional initiatives and potential new business opportunities
Preferred Qualifications
BS in Hospitality or Culinary field (preferred)
Three to five years of foodservice operation experience
High‑volume production and catering experience
Previous budget management experience
Desire to learn and grow within a top‑tier foodservice organization
