The Role Boston Legacy FC is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Manager of Group Sales to join our team. This individual will lead the strategy and execution of our group sales efforts while managing a portfolio of high‑value group accounts. The ideal candidate is motivated, competitive, and eager to grow as a leader within the sports sales industry.
In this role, you will be responsible for setting and conducting consistent face‑to‑face appointments, making outbound sales calls, and guiding the overall direction of the group sales department. We’re looking for a self‑starter with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn. Key Responsibilities
Train and develop reps to sell group sales programs and theme games by supporting on calls and appointments
Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to provide support in all areas of the ticket sales business
Help to identify new group sales opportunities in the Greater Boston market
Provide coaching, guidance and performance management to Account Executives as well as guiding Inside Sales Representatives in the best practices of Group Sales
Produce ticket sales revenue through execution of sales phone calls, and meetings as well as up‑selling and cross‑selling clients
Prospect, establish, research, and close group ticket sales leads through cold‑calling, prospecting, appointments, and networking.
Work to grow existing group and theme night events, and develop, plan, and execute new events.
Active role in BLFC gameday experience
Manage & execute Fan Experience Packages
Meet or exceed weekly hustle goals consisting of phone calls, meetings set, and completed
Generate tickets sales revenue through mix of Full‑Season Equivalent Memberships, Group Tickets, and Suite products
Meet or exceed individual and team revenue and retention goals
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in CRM system to ensure efficient follow‑ups and effective client relationships
Participate in sales and team events to engage with fans and supporters of the team during games and outside normal business hours
Other duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For
2-4 years relevant sales experience (inside sales, ticket sales) required
Prior leadership experience or involvement in leadership‑in‑training program preferred
Motivated, goal‑oriented individual with a passion for sales
Strong work ethic and desire to build career in professional sports
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Willingness to work in a fast‑paced environment
Ability to work non‑traditional hours, in non‑traditional settings, including but not limited to all home games and team events that fall on nights, weekends, and/or holidays
