About the Facility A 200-300 bed multispecialty facility is seeking an OB/GYN for locum tenens coverage.
About the Facility Location While on assignment in Central Ohio, visit the Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens or downtown Columbus for dinner by the Scioto River.
About the Clinician's Workday This position requires three days of office coverage per week with occasional call, starting mid‑January. The office schedule is typically 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Required procedures include deliveries (~850 annually, ~70 per month) with elective inductions at 41 weeks. The facility features a Level 2 nursery, no deliveries before 32 weeks, and 24/7 anesthesia coverage with CRNAs. Office duties involve seeing 22‑25 patients per day, supported by an MA or LPN, with procedures like colposcopy, biopsy, and LEEP performed in‑office or the OR. The inpatient team includes scrub techs, RN OR assistants, and midwives. An EMR system is in use, and three years of case logs (including office logs) are required for consideration.
