Position Overview

We are seeking a board certified/eligible, fellowship-trained academic surgical oncologist to serve in the Department of Surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong clinical capabilities in managing complex gastrointestinal malignancies, including experience in Cytoreductive Surgery with Heated Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy (HIPEC). Appointment will be as Instructor, Assistant or Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School, commensurate with experience, training and achievements. Responsibilities

Teaching medical students and surgery residents Clinical and basic research Patient care for complex GI malignancies Multidisciplinary collaboration with Dana‑Farber Cancer Institute, BIDMC and Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians Qualifications

Board certified or board eligible surgical oncologist Fellowship trained in surgical oncology Demonstrated aptitude for multidisciplinary collaboration Strong clinical experience managing complex gastrointestinal malignancies with HIPEC New fellowship graduates with exceptional promise will be considered Applicants from communities traditionally underrepresented in medicine are encouraged Faculty affiliation with Harvard Medical School desired About the Institution
