As a Senior Principal Business Development Operations Analyst (Level 4), you will support sector strategy, government relations, program management, and business development operations. You will report to the Senior Manager, Strategy and Business Development and be located onsite in McLean, VA.
Responsibilities
Develop key messages and supporting materials for customer engagements in coordination with sector and corporate staff.
Maintain meeting and event records using tools such as Salesforce and track follow‑up actions.
Lead planning, message development, and execution of visits to Mission Systems facilities, ensuring integration of sector and Northrop Grumman priorities.
Work with government relations, corporate communications, and other sectors to advance Mission Systems programmatic and business development interests.
Conduct market research and analysis to guide sector business development and strategy priorities; manage any outside consultants.
Perform other operations and integration activities as required.
Maintain discretion and confidentiality on special projects.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of related professional experience, or Master’s degree and 6+ years of related business development integration and planning experience. Years of experience can be considered in lieu of degree.
Experience creating executive‑level briefings and interacting with senior‑level leaders.
Experience with Salesforce.
Ability to navigate different types of organizations and embrace a collaborative, teamwork approach.
Excellent critical thinking, organization, communication, and relationship‑building skills.
Ability to manage expectations and activities of cross‑matrixed teams and stakeholders.
Capability to set priorities and work under pressure in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
Strong oral and written communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Familiarity with Salesforce.
Ability and willingness to travel 15 %‑25 % of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
Current active DoD Secret or Top Secret security clearance.
Professional experience in aerospace & defense.
Experience working with members of Congress, senior executive‑branch customers, and senior international customers.
Excellent problem‑solving and organizational skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Primary Salary Range:
$129,300.00 – $193,900.00
Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonuses, and long‑term incentives. Benefits include health insurance, life and disability insurance, savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off.
