Base compensation: $183,960.00 - $195,000.00 USD. Additional compensation may include an annual bonus and other benefits.

The Director, Product Management – Direct Tax is responsible for visioning, defining, and delivering industry‑leading Tax software products and leading and coaching a team of product managers, delivering our Direct Tax products, including ONESOURCE products and Statutory Reporting. We help create a simple, transparent, and positive experience working with the IRS and other jurisdictions. About The Role

Manage, build, and grow an inclusive team of high‑performing product managers focused on customer empathy, continuous learning & experimentation, and iterative delivery of value.

Drive product vision and strategy by developing a deep understanding of customer needs, market and technology trends, and business opportunities.

Define Product Discovery and Product Delivery roadmaps and enable teams to execute in parallel on both learning plans and agile delivery of customer value. Enable revenue generation across global customer sub‑segments by creating innovative solutions and delivering high‑quality, high‑impact products and services. Support customer sub‑segment and go‑to‑market teams with product launch and ongoing sales efforts with customer visits and other forms of engagement. Contribute to the growth of the global Thomson Reuters Product Management community and the transformation of Thomson Reuters from a “holding company” to an operating company with shared capabilities and connections across the product portfolio.

About You

Owns the product creation and delivery process that delivers delightful customer experiences and drives business impact from concept to design, delivery, experimentation, support, and launch for the Accounting & Advisory product line. Supports setting long‑term Corporate Income Tax and Accounting product strategy and roadmap that is rooted in a deep understanding of customers’ needs and competitive strengths.

Envisions and articulates the problem, opportunity, and solution to customers, cross‑functional product‑build teams, and stakeholders. In collaboration with product leaders, helps coordinate, leverage, and streamline legislative and compliance changes across the portfolio through tooling and enablement capabilities.

Develops and leads a best‑in‑class team for the successful execution of the strategic roadmap. Builds strong cross‑functional relationships (technology, experience design, marketing, sales, etc.) to deliver high‑value, innovative experiences. Drives strategic projects outside their specific area of ownership that shape long‑term business strategy. Key deliverables: defines, monitors, and executes product & business plans to exceed revenue, cost, and growth goals for the global Accounting & Advisory line. Roadmaps prioritize based on strategy, data, customer insight, and business objectives to deliver the most impactful, high‑quality solutions.

Partners with technology, content, and other teams to deliver high‑quality, high‑value products and experiences with a focus on continuous improvement in the agile process. Articulates value for new products and enhancements in collaboration with sub‑segments and marketing. Experience in accounting, taxation, and corporate tax compliance is preferred.

Entrepreneurial approach: innovative, risk‑taking, self‑starter, persistent, comfortable with ambiguity, results‑oriented, strong time management, organized, driven to succeed. Experience with B2B SaaS product management, preferably in enterprise, financial, tax, and accounting solutions, is strongly preferred; experience with mature revenue‑generating products is required. Broad business and technical acumen, with knowledge of technology trends, product‑led growth, and design‑centered thinking.

Excellent skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Azure DevOps, and other product management and collaboration tools are preferred.

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations. For any eligible US locations, the base compensation range for this role is $154,000 USD – $286,000 USD. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors, including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. It is part of a comprehensive Total Reward programme that also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programmes. This role may also be eligible for an annual bonus based on performance.
