We are currently seeking an experienced Audit Engineer for the UMG Global Technology and Infrastructure team . Utilizing best practices and an ITIL approach, UMG is looking for a professional who evaluates the infrastructure organization’s processes to ensure they are efficient and compliant with internal policies and regulations . This role involves assessing IT controls, identifying risks, and providing support for remediation efforts to ensure the integrity of the IT infrastructure processes. You will need to have a proactive mindset to develop efficient goals across all functions to ensure a continuous high level of service is met.    

Job Functions:  

  • Organize and facilitate productive meetings individually or in a team environment.  

  • Coordinate and respond to all audit requests from the Global Security Office (GSO), Internal and External auditors.   

  • Execute testing procedures of the effectiveness of the operating effectiveness of Data Backup/Recovery, Access and Change Management.  

  • Collaborate with IT and business owners to design and monitor effective corrective action plans .  

  • Develop and report on KPI’s and other operational measurements. Work with leadership to develop and track Service Improvement Plans.   

  • Communicate audit findings and recommendations to management and IT system owners.  

  • Maintain and communicate audit logs and document ation efficiently.  

  • Serve as a liaison with external auditors to coordinate SOX testing and respond to inquiries.   

  • Willing to work flexible hours to attend meetings supporting teams across the globe.     

  • Support the continuous improvement of audit readiness and automation processes .  

  • Implement AI to reduce toil in daily tasks.  

  • Coordinate performance management and learning and development activities across the team and liaise with People Inclusion Culture ( PIC ) , Tech Strategy, and the Chief of Staff .  

Job Requirements:  

Skills/Abilities:  

  • Highly efficient in prioritiz ing, organizing, and delivering responsibilities .

  • Ability to work on your own initiative while tracking goals and milestones across multiple teams.  

  • Strong understanding of audit framework and risk assessment principles.  

  • Solid understanding of networks , databases and cloud platforms  

  • Self-reliant with ability to work independently and within a team.   

  • Knowledge of security concepts firewalls, encryption, identity and access management.  

  • Working knowledge of scripting languages (Python, PowerShell).  

  • Excellent communication skills.  

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.  

  • Attention to details.  

  • Excellent time management and organization.   

Experience:  

  • A minimum of five years of experience in the IT operations industry with at least three years directly working in audit management pos ition with similar responsibilities.   

  • Experience with security/compliance tools such as Splunk and Prisma Cloud.  

  • Thorough knowledge of IT operations, information technology best practices, and industry trends.  

  • Proven ability to work effectively within and across diverse global teams, developing & maintaining collaborative relationships , and leading team meetings in-person or remotely .  

  • Experienced in developing and implementing an audit plan, including risk assessments and allocation of resources.  

  • Highly skilled in collaboration technology tools such as Microsoft Office, Monday.com, Zoom, Lucid, Everbridge     

Education:  

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.  

  • Professional certificate such as Certified Information Systems Audit (CISA) strongly desired.
