Pediatrix is thrilled to invite a Pediatric Emergency Medicine fellowship-trained physician to join our dynamic and supportive team at a leading children's hospital in Las Vegas, NV. This bustling pediatric emergency department handles approximately 55,000 annual visits, offering robust subspecialty support, excellent teaching opportunities, and an unbeatable quality of life in a vibrant city known for its endless outdoor activities and entertainment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality emergency care to pediatric patients in a high-volume setting.
- Collaborate closely with subspecialty teams including PICU, CVICU, NICU, and hospitalists to manage complex cases.
- Work alongside a dedicated support team including child life specialists and pediatric social workers.
- Engage in bedside teaching and supervision of Pediatric, Emergency Medicine, and Family Practice residents from six programs.
- Participate in training and didactic sessions for Pediatric ER fellows if desired.
- Benefit from full scribe coverage to optimize patient care and documentation.
- Work fair, balanced shifts with the potential for overtime if desired.

- This is a permanent, full-time position that requires residency within the immediate local area.
- Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
- Fellowship trained in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
- Nevada Medical License or eligibility to obtain.
- Clean malpractice and medical license history preferred.
- Willingness to relocate if not residing in the area.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
- Fellowship trained in Pediatric Emergency Medicine is required.
- A valid Nevada Medical License or eligibility to obtain one is mandatory.
