Position Overview Centers Health Care’s Hazlet, NJ laboratory is seeking an experienced Phlebotomist with a minimum of 3 years of nursing home phlebotomy experience. The role starts at 4 am and requires reliable transportation. Key Responsibilities Accurately identify patients via wristband or visual ID. Prepare equipment and perform specimen collection according to established standards. Follow proper venipuncture technique and test tube order. Label specimens correctly and maintain accurate patient records. Adhere to all safety and health regulations and maintain a clean work area. Collect and process Covid‑19 tests and provide patient aftercare education. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Phlebotomy Technician certificate preferred; otherwise completed hospital or major lab training program. Strong knowledge of standard blood drawing practices. Excellent interpersonal skills and communication. Flexible to work nights, evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts. Valid state‑issued driver’s license and reliable transportation.
