Planet Technologies, the Nation’s leading Microsoft services provider to the public sector, is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our growing team as Data Analyst. In this role, you will be supporting impactful projects that make a difference for our country. This role is for a junior level data analyst who will conduct analysis on gathered data for solution implementation. They bridge the gap between the business need and the technical solution translating requirements into actionable plans. They are flexible and participate in ad‑hoc assignments that meet the needs of internal stakeholders. Responsibilities Monitors and updates customer‑created JIRA ticket requests (Gateway, CloudSec, Close account requests etc.). Provides high‑level status updates to leadership on unit programs with stakeholder input. Engages internal and external stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure data is timely and accurate. Works on ad‑hoc assignments to assist in Cloud Roundtables, Virtual Academy training creation, and communications. Possesses a strong background in the Microsoft suite of tools contributing to the design and implementation of deliverables. Participates in project planning, after action reporting, and testing to provide successful project delivery. Communicates and engages with external stakeholders by facilitating meetings and presenting findings in a clear and concise manner. Qualifications Minimum of 1+ year of experience is recommended. In the absence of experience, certifications or past work may be used to demonstrate the required level of performance. Experience with JIRA ticket requests, Gateway and CloudSec. Knowledge of Cloud Roundtables and Virtual Academy training. Strong knowledge of Microsoft tools. Previous experience in project planning, design, and implementation of deliverables resulting in successful project delivery. Ability to work on site in DC five days a week. Ability to hold and maintain a Top Secret clearance. Compensation and Benefits Salaries for Junior Data Analysts at Planet Technologies range from $80,000 to $110,000. Several factors influence the final offer, including experience, clearance level, industry background, education, and training.
