As a key contributor, you will drive operational excellence and uphold the highest standards of accounting integrity in a mission‑critical environment. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of 9 accounting professionals in daily operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger management. Ensure strict compliance with contractual financial obligations and oversee US federal government funding and expenditures. Streamline accounting systems and workflow processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Conduct corporate tax planning and maintain adherence to tax laws and regulations. Monitor the general ledger for proper coding and accuracy of financial data. Collaborate with the Controller in developing and managing budgets, forecasts, and strategic financial plans. Prepare and support internal and external audit processes, ensuring timely and accurate submissions. Requirements 2-5 years of experience in an accounting supervisory or managerial role within a related industry. CPA certification is mandatory, with current and active licensure. Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office Suite, and ERP systems, with familiarity in consolidations and combined statements considered a plus. Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles, US federal government funding, and tax laws. Experience with project-based budget accounting is advantageous. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
