San Jose Mid- Senior Litigation Secretary
Adams & Martin Group is assisting a well-established mid‑sized law firm with an experienced Litigation Secretary to support multiple attorneys in a fast‑paced litigation practice. This full‑time, on‑site role is ideal for someone with at least 7+ years of stable law firm experience.
Location: San Jose, CA
Status: Fully Onsite
Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
Experienced at preparing and submitting e‑filings in Federal and State courts, ensuring compliance with court rules
Draft, format, and finalize litigation documents (briefs, pleadings, TOA/TOC, correspondence)
Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings/depositions, and coordinate logistics
Maintain and organize client files and case documents
Process expense reports, check requests, and financial documentation
Communicate with clients, attorneys, and stakeholders regarding case updates
Qualifications
High School Diploma required, some college or paralegal certification a plus
7+ years of secretary experience in a law firm
Advanced MS Word skills; strong proofreading and grammar
Experience with Federal/State e‑filling and court rules
Experience managing attorney calendars and deadlines
Familiarity with document management systems (NetDocs or similar preferred)
