Position Overview The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and proactive maintenance of Titan’s properties and building systems. This role focuses heavily on preventative maintenance while also performing repairs, installations, and general upkeep across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and groundskeeping. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to maintaining Titan’s reputation for excellence. Key Responsibilities Establish and execute best-practice preventative maintenance programs for all building systems, including maintaining accurate logs and records of inspections and service. Perform routine and emergency repairs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and other building systems. Monitor and maintain HVAC systems, including cleaning coils, replacing filters, and adjusting controls. Complete standard electrical tasks such as replacing light fixtures, switches, and outlets. Address plumbing issues such as leaking fixtures, clogged drains, and water line repairs. Perform minor carpentry and finish work, including drywall repair, painting, hardware installation, and cabinetry replacement. Assist with water treatment systems, kitchen equipment repairs, and other specialized systems as required. Perform snow removal, lawn care, and general groundskeeping to maintain curb appeal and safe access. Ensure proper care of tools, equipment, and supplies while promoting workplace safety. Maintain detailed records of work performed and participate in inspections. Respond to on-call or after-hours maintenance needs as assigned. Support custodial and miscellaneous duties to ensure property upkeep. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Minimum of 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related field. Strong working knowledge of at least one trade (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry) with ability to perform routine tasks across multiple disciplines. Ability to read and follow safety protocols, technical manuals, and work orders. Demonstrated commitment to preventative maintenance and continuous improvement. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and exercise sound judgment. Valid Minnesota driver’s license. Must successfully pass a background check. Willingness to participate in on-call rotation. Preferred Qualifications Boiler’s License (or willingness to obtain if required). Familiarity with property management environments and multi-unit facilities. Working Conditions & Physical Requirements Frequent exposure to elements such as extreme temperatures, noise, dust, fumes, and chemicals. Regularly requires strenuous physical activity including
lifting/pushing/pulling
