Managers in Investment Banking are responsible for the development and implementation of the business strategy and the relevant business model in the different areas, regions, sectors or segments. They are responsible for the ultimate sign‑off and deployment of relevant financial, infrastructure and human resources towards achievement of the plan. They develop and manage relationships at every level and provide advice and/or analyze local market conditions to integrate into decision–making processes.
Develop financial models, perform valuation analyses, conduct industry research, and evaluate key trends and opportunities.
Create partnerships by increasing depth and breadth of existing client relationships.
Increase the returns of products and services.
Generate new ideas and creative approaches that push the business forward.
Make sound and balanced judgments (and always within professional, ethical, regulatory and legal standards).
Motivate and inspire others by providing a vision of shared goals.
Represent the organization internally and externally as an executive for their respective area.
Responsible for maintaining internal cross‑functional and cross‑divisional client relationships.
Detailed salary information:
San Francisco: the salary range for this role is $175,000 to $200,000.
The expected salary range for this role, as of the date of posting, is based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, education, location and skill level. Your team You’ll be working in the Global Banking Technology Investment Banking Team in San Francisco, CA or New York, NY. We provide clients with mergers & acquisitions (M&A)/advisory, capital raising and general financial advice through qualitative and quantitative analysis.

Your expertise
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
Ideally 5+ years of industry expertise in Software, Internet or Tech‑Enabled Services.
Strong interpersonal skill and ability to communicate effectively.
Solid analytical and quantitative skills.
High attention to detail.
Strong understanding of banking products, capital structure and capital markets.
