ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
During before and after school hours extended learning programs, the Site Worker assists in providing age‑appropriate instruction and recreational activities for students in the Extended Learning Program (ELP) after‑school program for students PreK‑12 at the assigned school site. The Site Worker observes student behavior to ensure safety and well‑being, provides appropriate redirection, and assists with instructional tasks, meal service, personal care, and related work as required. The Site Worker complies with all applicable District policies and procedures, state and federal laws and regulations, and standards of quality and safety, working under the direct supervision of the ELP Site Supervisor.
Qualifications
- At least twenty‑one (21) years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum education and experience as listed: 12 hours of professional development each school year
- Childcare experience preferred
