Job Title: Orthopedic Surgeon (Locum) - Tacoma, WA
Summary: Join a leading Level II Trauma center in Tacoma, Washington, seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon to cover for 2 weeks each month. Job Responsibilities:- Provide 24/7 coverage for the Emergency Room.
- Conduct outpatient clinic visits three days per week.
- Handle a full spectrum of orthopedic cases, excluding complex pelvic issues.
- Collaborate with dedicated physician assistants and support staff.
- Ensure high-quality patient care in both hospital and outpatient settings.
- Participate in ongoing credentialing and stay updated on compliance requirements.
- Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery.
- Fellowship trained in Orthopedic Trauma Surgery.
- 5 years of Level II experience is required.
- Clean malpractice history preferred.
- Ability to meet the credentialing requirements within the designated timeframe.
- State License in Washington (highly preferred) or IMLC with LOQ in hand.
- BLS and DEA certifications (required; candidates may be considered if willing to obtain soon after an offer).
