Auto Collections Agent Location: Fort Worth, TX (76177) | Onsite
Compensation & Schedule •$19-$21/hr • Must be available to worka shift between 8am-6pm M-F • Full-time, 12+ month contract • Tentative Start Date: January 5, 2025
ROLE IMPACT The Loss Terminations Representative ensures accurate and compliant processing of hostile termination cases, safeguarding the organization from legal risk and supporting the broader collections and asset recovery process. This role is critical to maintaining regulatory integrity and ensuring timely coordination between repossession, auction, and notice workflows.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Process hostile termination cases, including involuntary and voluntary surrenders, skip charge-offs, and deceased account closures, ensuring all actions comply with legal and procedural requirements. • Assess and apply repossession charges, assign assets to auction, and send required post-repossession and deficiency notices. • Perform reinstatement processing, including fund movements, termination reversals, and title management to ensure repossession holds are properly lifted. • Communicate proactively with internal teams, dealers, and external stakeholders to resolve account issues and ensure case accuracy.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • 1+ year of automotive collections experience - REQUIRED • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. • Ability to manage multiple, complex case types in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.
CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS • ALFA case management • Compass procedures and legal guide • General suspense and account reconciliation systems • Internal communication and collections platforms
PREFERRED SKILLS • Strong analytical and detail orientation in documentation-heavy workflows. • Experience within financial services, collections, or repossession environments. • Excellent written and verbal communication with cross-functional teams.
