Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting
$100,000-$120,000 + bonus
Well-respected manufacturing company in the Western suburbs is seeking a Senior Accountant-Financial Reporting. This role will assist with external financial reporting as well as corporate month end close. This opportunity offers career advancement, development, and the ability to progress into other roles.

Flexibility to work from home, in office 2x a week Responsibilities and Duties of the Senior Accountant-Financial Reporting Assist with external financial reporting process, including assisting with SEC filing. Complete month-end close activities including journal entries, inter-company transactions, account reconciliations, and financial reporting in a timely and accurate manner with a high level of attention to detail. Assume ownership for researching, document, and implementing new accounting guidelines (revenue recognition, leasing, etc). Participate in quarter- and year-end analysis, and reporting activities Help ensure appropriate internal controls are in place and working as defined Help identify improvement opportunities and recommend and implement appropriate solutions in a controlled environment Preferred Experience of the Senior Accountant-Financial Reporting B.S. in Accounting CPA, or CPA tracking 3 - 8years of relevant experience Public accounting experience preferred Experience working with SEC clients or working for a SEC company
