Key Responsibilities - Lead Accountant Assist with month-end close: journal entries, variance resolution, and financial analysis Prepare GL account reconciliations ensuring accuracy and compliance Improve and enforce budgets, policies, and internal controls Support cost accounting: CIP, WIP, and inventory reconciliations Process payments via ACH, online platforms, and checks Record payroll entries to the GL and reconcile payroll to ADP Review labor distribution and post manual labor allocation entries Perform monthly accrual calculations and postings Process electronic deposits and ensure timely cash application Partner with operations, shipping/receiving, and shop floor teams to resolve GR/IR Process overhead allocations and prepare related journal entries
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 4-7+ years of accounting experience (manufacturing strongly preferred) Working knowledge of cost accounting & inventory processes Strong Excel and ERP system experience Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and comfortable working cross-functionally
