Are you ready to make an impact in a dynamic finance team? We're seeking a
Financial Analyst
who thrives on turning data into actionable insights and supporting strategic decisions that drive growth. This full-time role reports directly to the VP of Finance/Accounting.
What You'll Do
As a
Financial Analyst , you will: Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Prepare and present detailed financial reports and dashboards for management. Monitor key performance indicators such as cash flow, working capital, and bank compliance metrics (FCCR, NWC, Excess Availability). Conduct ad hoc analysis to support initiatives like mergers, acquisitions, and cost optimization. Partner with senior leadership on strategic planning, investment decisions, and resource allocation. Build financial models and perform scenario analysis to evaluate risks and opportunities.
What Success Looks Like
Accurate forecasting of sales, SG&A, profit, and cash flow. Timely identification of trends and anomalies with actionable recommendations. Strong collaboration across departments to assess financial impact of strategic initiatives.
Skills That Set You Apart
Advanced Microsoft Excel and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience with Great Plains ERP, SQL queries, Crystal Reports, and Planful Financial Planning Software is a plus. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and effectively.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics required 2-5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines. High ethical standards, integrity, and professionalism.
