As a Fixed Assets Specialist, you will: Review, process, and record fixed assets for existing restaurants, as well as new builds and remodels (primary focus on existing locations). Interpret and apply fixed asset policies and capitalization guidelines during reviews of invoices and construction documents. Process asset retirements when necessary. Review, repair, and maintenance accounts monthly for items eligible for capitalization. Scan and index the document to ensure accurate record-keeping. Assist in preparing and processing accrual journal entries to record depreciation estimates for unbooked assets. Support special projects as needed in your role as a Fixed Assets Specialist. Preferred Qualifications for the Fixed Assets Specialist Role: To succeed as a Fixed Assets Specialist, you should bring: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP experience preferred). Experience with Oracle or similar ERP/reporting tools is a plus. Minimum of three years of accounting experience (invoice processing, payroll, vendor accounts, journal/ledger maintenance) or one year in analytical/reconciliation accounting. Associate or bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred.
