Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - PICU

Oklahoma City, OK 73104 Duration:
3 + Months contract (Possibilities of Extension)
Shift:
3*12hrs (Days/Nights)
Essential Responsibilities: · Assumes responsibility for an assigned group of patients. · Documents patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments; notes all changes in physician orders on assigned patients. · Assists physicians in the examination of patients and in performing minor diagnostic procedures and treatments. · Obtains and monitors physiological data of patients, observes physiological manifestations, and intervenes when necessary. · Administers medications as prescribed; initiates, regulates, and monitors intravenous infusions and blood products. · Delivers patient care competently. · Interacts with patients and families when sharing the care plan during hospitalization and at discharge. · Informs patients and families of hospital procedures. · Makes referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel. · Delegates tasks to support staff.
